Asher has worked on Democratic campaigns since 2018, most recently interning for the communications team of the Harris-Walz campaign and the opposition research team of the Josh Stein for North Carolina campaign. Before the 2024 election cycle, Asher interned on the press teams of Senator Elizabeth Warren and Nashville Mayor John Cooper, and worked on field programs for two federal campaigns in Tennessee.

He is currently finishing his Bachelor’s in Government at Georgetown University. On campus, Asher led press strategy for and helped organize two major student campaigns: a legislative push to ban legacy admissions in D.C., and a student-organized rally at the Department of Education protesting the Trump Administration’s cuts.
