Kayla is a digital creative strategist and multimedia producer with a passion for using video, design, and storytelling to elevate Democratic and progressive causes. She was most recently the Digital Rapid Response Intern at the Democratic National Committee, where she co-managed digital strategy for @FactPostNews and produced video and graphic content for the Democratic Party's social platforms.

She is currently a fourth-year undergraduate at UC Davis, studying Communication and Cinema & Digital Media. Kayla's background in filmmaking shapes how she approaches digital storytelling. She previously directed a student feature-length documentary on UC Davis's Formula Racing team, following a group of engineering students who overcome personal and technical challenges in building an electric race car. She currently serves as President of the Davis Filmmaking Society.

Kayla also has a background in graphic design, with experience across brand identity and social media marketing design for student organizations at UC Davis.
